Frozen Yogurt Drops
What you need:
Yogurt
Cookie Sheet
Plastic Baggie
Scissors
Put your favorite yogurt in the baggie and snip off the corner.
Squeeze the bag to make nickel size dollops of yogurt on the cookie sheet
Freeze for 2-3 hours and put the dots in a container. Store in the freezer.
See, I told you it was EASY!!
You can also put bits of fruit on the top too. Or even puree some fruit (banana and strawberry is great) and add it to plain yogurt so you get a boost of fruits (may even be able to sneak that in for your picky eater).

Want a free, fun, and educational outside activity?
Today was beautiful! Just last week we had 2 feet of snow and today it was 67 degrees out! So, of course we had to have enjoy it. I saw this idea last year but never got the time try it. It's super simple and my daughter loved it.
All you need is water, small toys, a bowl, and something to hit the ice with. You can also add food coloring or glitter to make it extra fun.
I froze my toys in layers and you can use pretty much any small toy (Barbie shoes, army men, dinosaur, beads, rings, etc)
After it's all frozen it's time to have fun!
Let your little one use some tools to get the toys out. We used a water bottle with hot water, flat head screwdriver, and a butter knife. But you can be creative and decide what they should use.
All in all my daughter had a blast trying to get her toys out. While having fun she also used her problem solving skills which was a plus. We will definitely be doing this again!

How I'm teaching my 4 year old how to spell his name
All I did was put letters of the child's name on pieces of paper. Then they have to figure out how they go in order. At first I let him look at the envelope. After that's to easy he has to do it on his own.
About Admin Channing...
The basics: Well, I'm Channing, and I've been an admin with Mommy Talk & Advice since October of 2012. I live in Tennessee, just outside of Nashville, with my significant other, Nick, and our 3 children, Luciana, Dante, and Dimitri. Dante & Dimitri are twins, they'll be 2 in April; Luci will be 4 this year.
The deep(ish) stuff: I am a manic depressive sociopath. Now, that doesn't mean I'm some deranged serial killer or anything. Lol. Manic Depression is not like regular, clinical depression. It's more commonly known as bipolar disorder. But, manic depression includes clinical depression as part of it's diagnosis. You can't be bipolar without also having clinical depression. A sociopath basically is an antisocial person lacking a conscience. See? Not so bad, and nowhere near a deranged serial killer. haha. My life has had many ups and downs, twists and turns.... It's been a bit crazy, and I've been through a lot. Still a lot more to go through, as well.
Well, I've been sitting here trying to type this all out for about 3 hours now. I kept getting distracted, now it's almost 1am and I'm falling asleep at the computer. This'll do for now. ;)
<3 With Love,
Channing

About co-owner Amy
I personally don't have a parenting style, my daughter was bottle fed which broke my heart but it also opened my eyes that a healthy happy fed baby is far more important than where they get their milk, despite having such a negative experience with breastfeeding I was determined to try again but second time around I didn't place as much pressure on myself and successfully fed our son until he self weaned at 13 months. I again will try to breastfeed our last child but until my baby is here I wont know what direction things will lead us this time.
My first ever pregnancy resulted in a ruptured ectopic where I almost lost my life, I had presented to our emergency department several times leading up to the event and was told I was having a miscarriage and to go home and ride it out, unfortunately I seem to have a rather high pain threshold (plus I'm stubborn) by the time I realized things weren't normal I had been bleeding internally for some time.
I live in Australia, our health care is free, our schooling is low cost or in most cases free, we have great government financial support for families (despite what some would say) I personally work outside the home, I would love to be a stay at home mum but our circumstances require me to work but fortunately its a few hours each week day morning. I love my job, I work in admin and occasionally management in our local public hospital.
Hello from admin Britt
My name is Brittany but I go by Britt or BrittC on the page. I live in Roanoke, Va and have lived here my whole life. I'm a single mom to a little girl named Kaelee who is 3 1/2. I love reading, crafting, cooking (although I HATE the clean up lol), and all things pregnancy and birth related. I'm an attachment parent and a car seat safety fanatic.
I became a mom on June 16, 2010. I had planned a beautiful, empowering home birth but my body and daughter had different plans. I had a severe placental abruption and my daughter was born via emergency csection. She was my miracle baby. I cannot imagine my life without her. She has made me a much stronger person and a better person.
I have been an admin for a little over a year now and I have learned so much from you ladies. I love that we're all on this motherhood journey together and can learn and grow from each other. I feel like I personally know a lot of our fans and can say that you're all amazing women.
