Safety Tip

In case you're ever in an accident you want your child to be able to get the best care possible, right? But, what if you're unconscious? Doctors need certain info in order to know how to care for your baby. This is a very quick and easy life saving tip. Simply, use a post-it note and put your child's important info on it- Name, DOB, Emergency Contact ( someone you trust to care for your child and knows your child history. If possible don't list someone who is likely to be in the car with you), any known allergies, medications, child's PCP, any medical conditions, etc. Also, date the post-it so emergency responders know the info is up to date. Then tape the post-it to the seat. Easy peasy. And if you're worried about strangers being able to see this information you can always tape it to a part of the seat that isn't visible- just be sure to tape another post-it in plain view that will alert emergency responders so they know to look for the info.
